I specialize in helping adults work through:
Narcissistic/Intimate Partner Abuse • Other Trauma • Depression & Anxiety • Low Self-Esteem • Unhealthy Boundaries & People Pleasing • Life Transitions & Adjustments
Therapists vary by personality, experience, and skill set, so finding the right fit is essential. I’m always available for a free phone consultation to make sure I can provide the help you’re looking for and answer any questions you may have.
I work with adult individuals from a trauma-informed perspective. I use concepts from attachment theory and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; I’m also a certified EMDR therapist. It’s my job to ask questions and make observations designed to help you examine your thoughts, feelings, and core beliefs. Increasing self-awareness and understanding how your past has influenced your present allows you to make positive and meaningful changes.
Most clients start with weekly sessions, but we can meet more or less frequently depending on your level of distress, your treatment goals, and your schedule.
Of note, I consider myself a secular therapist. While I welcome clients of any (or no) faith, my therapy practice is based on applicable evidence-based research, not religion.
Trauma occurs when our brain and nervous system’s ability to cope is overwhelmed. When a distressing experience results in trauma, our sense of self and safety is altered. This leads to a struggle to feel safe in our bodies and regulate our emotions, negatively impacting our relationships and overall functioning.
I am dedicated to treating any post-traumatic injury, with a special interest in helping folks heal from narcissistic abuse. While there are many evidence-based treatment options for trauma, I have chosen to use EMDR in my practice. If you are considering this therapy, I highly recommend Korn & Baldwin’s book Every Memory Deserves Respect: EMDR, the Proven Trauma Therapy with the Power to Heal.
$175 per 50-60 minute session.
Payment is due at the time of service via credit/debit card, HSA card, or cash.

Personally
I was born and raised in Little Rock, but I’ve called NWA home since 2013. I live in Fayetteville with my fur babies. My son is a student at U of A, and my daughter is living her best life out in Colorado. I’m an extrovert who loves books, music, good food, and flea markets.
Professionally
After decades in the field, I am still passionate about mental health care. I’ve practiced therapy in community mental health, employee assistance, and inpatient settings. I’ve also enjoyed serving as a field instructor for MSW students. I make it a priority to stay up to date on best practices and resources I can pass along to my clients.
Of note, I consider myself a secular therapist. While I welcome clients of any (or no) faith, my therapy practice is based on applicable evidence-based research, not religion.
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please utilize the Helpful Resources section on this site, call 911, or go to the nearest hospital emergency room.
